Great Brak River is situated right next to the N2, close to the airport and halfway between Mossel Bay and George … perfect to use as base to explore activities and everything the scenic Garden Route has to offer. Great Brak Grabadoo
On 31 December each year – Grabadoo, the Garden Route’s most popular family sporting event of the holiday season, is a wonderful way to experience the picturesque Great Brak River area first hand.

Walking Fest
During the first Hi-Tec Garden Route Walking Fest over Easter 2016 Great Brak Tourism Initiative co-ordinated the marketing of 6 walks to promote Great Brak River village and surrounds. Promoting The Village
In July 2016 Great Brak Info hosted the very first Village Educational for a group of 19 tour operators, journalists and various other role players in the local tourism industry. This was done in collaboration with Pierre Poolman of the Diaz Express – he looked after the George to Great Brak River journey while Ina Stofberg (tourism office) and Barry Greyvenstein (Great Brak Tourism Initiative) accompanied the group on their tour of the village.
