Kobus Halliday Car Museum
Visit his impressive collection of 104 classic cars, one of the biggest in the country. Groups welcome – maximum of 12 people, no children under 14. Coffee Cupping Experience

Hakuna Matata Game Farm
Visit a working family farm on the Fragrance Route – guided farm walk/game drive offered to their 3 special lions; see fynbos, buffalo and other game along the way. Optional picnic with sundowner snacks/coffee and rusks/continental breakfast basket. Minimum 2 adults for walk, minimum 4 adults for drive. Activities under R400 with children under 12 half price. Southern Cape Regional Footwear Cluster in Great Brak River
Learn more about the highly successful shoe-manufacturing business originally introduced by the Searle family and see how shoes are made. Tours last about 20 minutes and are free, but visitors can only be accommodated while people are in actual training – the centre is closed for certain periods. This training centre can be visited by appointment only, contact 044 620 2121 for more information.
The Great Brak River Museum
Find the full story in pictures and text of Great Brak River village during its “Heydays” from 1859 to 1920. During 2013/14 the museum won the coveted “Best New Museum Project”, beating both the Hout Bay and Iziko museums. Hours: Open Monday to Friday from 08h30 to 16h00, other days on request. Walks Conducted By The Great Brak River Museum

- Visit the last remaining operable 1920’s hydropower station in South Africa. Conducted from the museum on Thursdays at 10h00, from one person to big groups. No fee, but donations to the museum are very welcome. Duration: 1 to 1½ hours.
- A Historic Village Walk for groups.
- A tour to the wreck at Glentana for groups, duration 3 hours during low tide.
