LYNDA JACOBSEN ART
Always intensely busy in my studio!
“I have been painting most of my life, however only six years on a full time professional basis, before that I was a fashion designer, always delving into new creations.
My art is exhibited in various art galleries, on line and in my working studio. I switch between oil and acrylics evoking different moods and brush marks. I love experimenting with my art using mixed media to express my fascination to create something new or different.”
Some portraits are my interpretation of friends of mine, stimulated by the character of the individual.

“I called this painting (left) table mountain for the obvious, but I am always inspired to paint the beauty of nature.”
Table mountain 1, oil on canvas (80 x 80, R4 500)
“I find myself going through a blue and pink period with a sudden fascination for flowers, but this will only last until a new tempting colour or theme lures me onto a new road of discovery and excitement.”
One of my floral paintings (right) inspired by my pink and blue phase, leaving me in a happy place.
